Kapsururu is the tallest and most iconic of the Sipi Falls, plunging dramatically from a height of 100 meters (312 feet). This spectacular waterfall is famously featured on the UGX 10,000 banknote, making it the most photographed fall in the region.
Accompanied by a local guide born and raised in Sipi, you will hike through traditional homesteads, banana plantations, coffee farms, bush vegetation, and scenic viewpoints before reaching the base of the falls. Along the way, you may spot colorful bird species and enjoy interactions with the Sabiny community, the indigenous people of the area.
The trail is well-maintained with stone steps and wooden bridges. While walking requires moderate fitness due to the hilly terrain, vehicle access is also available for those who prefer an easier option.
